Just saw a weird tip-off ( !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! ) about "Renovo Motors" - a startup "coming out of stealth mode" - announcing an all-electric supercar tomorrow (?). They also have a twitter - !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! , with one tweet - and a !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! (EDIT: I was informed the link is now broken...)
Here's the only information I could find about them via a Google search - !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! .
Does anyone know any more info about it? It may be legitimate - if they announced they were in stealth mode back in 2010, that's quite a bit of time to do serious R&D. Maybe follow the Tesla roadmap - supercar/sports car, luxury big sedan, luxury crossover, luxury small sedan?

Interesting. The link was working when I made this post... The website is reporting a 503 error - that's typically because the server is overwhelmed.

Just noticed - they're tweeting more actively now. I guess Pebble Beach will be the big release...

I dunno... they've received some publicity from some big names on Twitter in the Silicon Valley sphere, if you check out their feed.

It seems like it would be easy to fake that though

Perhaps. The biggest name is Marc Andreeson , who is maybe Silicon Valley's biggest investor. He typically doesn't mess around with his rumors and retweets. The published picture is also interesting...
